Yesterday I had the honor of shadowing my cousin, who is a professional photographer, at a wedding. She has been doing this as her profession for quite some time and she is AWESOME! I learned so much just watching her and her second shooter in action. I also was able to take a few shots as well. I did have to buy an external flash for the wedding because the flash on the top of my camera was not sufficient enough. That’s ok, I kind of wanted one anyway and now I won’t have to worry about it again. The first one is my shot for “project 365”. It is the shoes and speech of her man of honor. I have never been to a wedding with a man of honor, but it was pretty cool. Picture stats were ISO 400, 1/250, and 5.6. We were indoors and I had my flash on. Aside from a little cropping, this picture is straight out
of the camera.
Both of these images are of the wedding rings. Picture stats 1/400, 4.0 and ISO 200 and there is very little editing done to this picture. I just adjusted the levels a little bit. No adjustments aside from cropping are done to the rings on the rose.
