Project 365-8

I’m posting two pictures today, one for the heck of it and one for my project 365. The first picture is of Claire, which is the picture for project 365. I feel like I only was posting pictures of Ashton so it was her turn to get a post. Claire has been smiling at us for a while now, and I haven’t managed to take a good picture of it. But today I did. Picture stats are 1/80 f 2.8 ISO 640. The blinds were open so a ton of light was coming in. I could have turned the ISO down more or made the shutter speed faster, but I thought the pictures turned out pretty good.

The second picture is a random, I know. But it is actually something that is quite exciting that is happening in my house.A little background about this….. about 8 months ago our T.V we bought right after we got married that hung on the wall just went out. The voices could be heard but it wouldn’t show the picture. We diagnosed it and determined that the back light went out. So we put our T.V from our bed room downstairs for the time being so we could determine what we wanted to do with it. Fast forward 8 months and the bedroom T.V was STILL sitting downstairs and the wall hanging was STILL on the wall. After Christmas my husband decided that instead of fixing the T.V downstairs that we would just buy a new one. I didn’t really care, after all it was his Christmas money and I didn’t care about having the other T.V down stairs, I just HATED looking at the wall hanging every day with nothing done to it. So a week after we got the T.V and determined that we didn’t want to hang the T.V on the wall (well Dan threw away the bolts and they ones that were on the old T.V didn’t fit the new T.V and he didn’t want to get new ones) Dan headed to Lowes and got the material to fix the holes in the wall. Wahooo! Now we are just waiting for it to dry so we can sand and paint it. That is why I am posting this picture!!

Today I also ran 4 miles!!! I actually didn’t run the whole thing, but that is ok. I walked for about 2 minutes every 15 minutes or so. But I ran an average of 14:23 per mile and burned 439 calories. I ran outside because it was one of those weird random mild winter days again. I find it so much easier to run outside than on a tread mill. I can control my pace so much better outside and I have this really cool app on my phon. It’s actually the Hal Higdon app and it tracks my mileage and plugs in into my journal. He also talks to you along the way and gives you a few words of encouragement. Tomorrow is a day of rest and I believe I am going to need it. I probably will be sore, but that is ok, I am very proud of myself today for actually finding the motivation and doing it (sounds corny I know).

One more random thought, if anyone that reads this knows how to make tabs along the top so I can categorize things, please email me or comment below..thanks :)
