365-3

First I want to apologize for all the typos I had yesterday in my blog. After I published it I realized that there more than just a couple of mistakes. I will try from now on to not let that happen. So, today I was going to start my running program. I had all the intentions of going out after the kids were in bed, buuuuuut, there was snow on the ground. It didn’t look like much, but according to my mom who was out, said it was really bad. My cousin was stuck and had to get a tow truck, so it was probably a good idea to stay home. I walked the dogs for about 10 minutes so that counts as a little bit of exercise right??. I will for sure start running tomorrow and will run the three miles I didn’t run today, even if it means I have to go to the gym at 10pm. I may take some advice from a friend and actually register for a half marathon or maybe just a 10-k so I can stay motivated that way I won’t have ANY excuses!!!! Side note: maybe the snow it will stay on the ground and cause a delay for work tomorrow :)

Here is my picture for project 365. There were different things that I was thinking about taking a picture of, but when I was giving Claire a bath, I looked at her and this looks much like a picture I took a year a half ago of Ashton. The picture of Claire was taken with a high ISO of 1250, F-stop 2.8 and shutter speed of 1/100. I adjusted the lighting a tiny bit in Photoshop elements by pushing control-L and playing with the meter. Once again, I am no professional and am practicing with Photoshop Elements. The picture of Claire is taken with the manual settings on my camera, and the one of Ashton is taken with a point and shoot. The image with the manual settings is much better. What I am learning is that it is fun to play around with camera settings and see what kinds of images are produced with certain settings.

So what do you think?? Do my children look alike?
